Dr. Ilan Grunhaus
Dr. Ilan Grunhaus received his degree in dentistry at the Universidad Latina in Costa Rica in 2001. He continues his postgrade studies in Periodontics at the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at the Boston University.
At the Boston University he begins the Implantology program with practice in Prosthodontics, switching to the Periodontics program during the next two years, complementing his surgical knowledge and mastering the techniques for dental implants, bone and gum grafting, paranasal sinuses lifting, aesthetic manipulation of gums, and periodontal disease treatment.
During his postgrade studies, Dr. Grunhaus teaches several pregrade courses in Periodontics and works at the Veteran Hospital in Boston.
Also, Dr. Grunhaus receives the opportunity to expose medical cases on important conferences in several cities in The United States, such as the prestigious Conference of the Bone Integration Academy, which took place in Dallas, Texas in March, 2002.
Once he finished his postgrade studies, Dr. Grunhaus returns to Costa Rica as a specialist, and since 2004, he has been invited to teach his speciality at the Universidad Latina in Costa Rica.
