Diversification and Growth
Gil Dental Clinic was originally in the neighborhood of Los Yoses. It was later moved to the nearby location in the neighborhood of Barrio Dent, right in front of the International Bookstore. From this moment on the clinic took on a different direction seeking to provide patients with a larger range of services and covering more dental specialties. Today, this Barrio Dent Gil Dental Clinic offers six treatment rooms and a laboratory. Out of this clinic work two Prosthodontists; one of them Dr. Gil himself, a Maxillofacial surgeon, a Pediatric dentist, a Periodontist and an Endodontist.
As the growth of the clinic became eminent, Dr. Gil saw that it would be necessary to prepare for the changes taking place. He took broader involvement in the business or commercial side of the dental business and opened a dental supply company called Implantec. He then began to take steps in the direction of realizing the project of his dreams, to open a new clinic.
Many factors were considered when choosing the location for the new clinic. Dr. Gil felt that the city of San Jose had been clearly split in half. Many of his patients who lived on the West side of the city were reluctant to drive across town to receive treatment at the East side clinic in the Dent neighborhood. And so seven years ago the decision was made to open the new clinic in Escazú, purchasing a lot right next to the Highway on the way to the town of Santa Ana. The Escazú clinic opened its doors to patients in November of 2002.
In both of Dr. Gil´s clinics the philosophy is to provide patients with the best quality in dentistry possible. Costs are not spared when it comes to dental materials for the treatments and procedures that patients need. The profile of the patients for the clinics is one that is interested in having and maintaining perfect dental and oral health.
For Dr. Gil, the appearance of the new clinic was important. He wanted his patients to feel very comfortable in a modern atmosphere where every detail is looked after. The highest standards of quality service and patient attention are strictly observed.
