Dr. Pamela Fonseca graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry from the University of Costa Rica in 2017. As a result of her graduation project, she published the scientific article “Effects of Bleaching Gels on Dental Enamel Crystallography” in the journal Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry in January 2021
After completing her degree, Dr. Fonseca worked in private practice for four years, gaining extensive experience in general and restorative dentistry. In 2022, she began a Professional Master’s Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Costa Rica, which she completed in 2024.
During her postgraduate studies, Dr. Fonseca participated in the National Research Award, winning first place in the clinical case category in both the 2023 and 2024 editions. Since 2023, she has been a member of the faculty in the Department of Restorative Sciences at the University of Costa Rica, where she teaches both theoretical and practical courses in the field of prosthodontics.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Fonseca enjoys hiking, water activities such as snorkeling and kayaking, and spending time with her family.
